This line of BFGOODRICH Mud-Terrain T-A KM tires (KM stands for Key Benefit Mud Traction) has been developed to meet the needs of truck and SUV drivers who want maximum off-road traction. On the outside, the tread of these Mud-Terrain T-A KM tires is based on a blend of advanced materials, vulcanized in a symmetrical pattern. The profile of these all-season tyres is made up of large interlocking blocks in the central area that alternate with DiggerLugz hollows, which extend over the tyre's shoulders and provide the ability to dig into the ground but also to work against roadbanks and muddy lanes to add extra traction. The computer-optimised tread design generates less noise and provides a larger, rectangular footprint to increase climbing on rocks and traction on smooth surfaces for these tyres. Inside, this range of tyres features twin steel belts and the BFGOODRICH TriGard system (three layers of polyester rope on the sidewalls) for strength and durability. This all-season tyre is designed to run 20 per cent on-road and 80 per cent off-road.
