AllSeasonContact tyres, launched in mid-2017, are premium allseason tyres with a directional profile, usable all year round by passenger cars and which are distinguished by the quality of execution, modern design and the highest level of safety due to their properties. The focus during the development of the AllSeasonContact tyre model was firmly placed on the need to have good driving characteristics in winter, safe handling in all weather conditions and excellent fuel efficiency. The product is reliable, regardless of road and weather conditions, coming with an innovative combination of tread pattern, rubber compound, contour and tyre structure. To achieve a perfect balance between these individual tire characteristics, Continental chemists have developed an adaptive all-season rubber compound for winter driving, which always remains flexible, based on Winter Performance resins and with a high concentration of silicon in the Traction Silica Compound, ensuring good grip on wet and snow-covered roads. The tread pattern of the Continental AllSeasonContact also brings together proven elements of Continental's premium summer and winter tires, which are recognized for their safety. Thus, the directional tread has been adopted from the current winter tire family, while the open shoulders ensure good aquaplaning characteristics. The rigid tread surface pattern with the low number of grooves ensures precise handling and short braking distances on dry asphalt. In addition, the tyre has low rolling resistance and is economical, with low consumption levels achieved through the modern sidewall geometry and specially designed structure, offering the best fuel efficiency in the premium segment of the tyre range
