The CONTINENTAL ContiCrossContact Winter are winter tyres designed for fast, heavy-duty vehicles with 4x4 traction. The performance of these Continental ContiCrossContact Winter tyres is excellent, thanks to an advanced silicon-based compound. The shape of the tyre's footprint ensures that it withstands stresses thanks to the large double blocks on the outside. The large number of blocks with differently oriented and strongly ribbed edges and the asymmetrical design provide outstanding traction on any kind of winter roads. These grooves are progressive, sinusoidal grooves are geared to ensure better snow filling and more efficient snow friction. This Continental concept, optimised with progressive sinusoidal grooves, guarantees very good performance on dry roads. Aquaplaning is minimal, water is drained by the wide grooves on the circumference (in numbers of 3 or 4 depending on the width of the tire), and the grooves on the outer shoulder increase safety. The grooves of these winter tires are optimized according to flow and provided with many edgings for good traction on snow.
