MICHELIN Pilot Alpin PA4 235/50 R17 100 V XL C C 70 B winter tyre

Description

The MICHELIN Pilot Alpin PA4 winter tyre model has been designed to meet the demands of drivers of powerful cars. This line of Michelin tyres generates shorter braking distances of up to 4 metres compared to its competitors, thus ensuring a high level of safety. The asymmetrical pattern of the profile grips any surface, being divided into 3 distinct zones. The high-performance central rib of these Michelin tyres promises short braking and increased stability in a straight line. The open inner shoulder is provided with continuous ribs that have the role of directing water outwards to determine good traction in rainy weather and a minimal risk of aquaplaning for these tyres in winter. The outer shoulder is built in such a way as to promise excellent handling on dry surfaces and absorb rolling shocks for these tyres in winter. The angular central blocks of these tyres in winter grip excellently on snow and ice in winter. The 3D ribs provide 10 percent better grip when accelerating in snow and 5 percent better handling in snow than the previous model of this line of winter tyres. The addition of Silica used in the construction of this tyre model significantly increases grip on slippery surfaces, thus shortening the braking distance by 5 per cent on snow. The MICHELIN Pilot Alpin PA4 tyre line is certified by major car manufacturers as UHP tyres. The deep grooves in the center of the tread of these tires in winter favor the removal of water to lower the level of aquaplaning. The experience of Michelin engineers in the compounds used guarantees a long service life and significant fuel savings. The StabiliGrip technology consists of the presence of sipes that are of three different sizes and inclined differently to increase grip, break the water film and increase rigidity
