MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 255/40 R20 101 Y RunFlat C A 72 B Summer Tyre

Description

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres are premium summer tyres with an asymmetrical profile designed for sedan or sports cars, oriented towards performance but maintaining a high degree of comfort, a very good tread life and very good performance on wet roads, giving drivers safety and driving pleasure. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres offer a significant advance in several areas compared to the predecessor Pilot Sport 3, with ultra-sensitive tread technological innovations for the new tyres stemming from Michelin's experience in motor racing, including Formula E. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres constantly adapt to the road, thanks to their intelligent mastery of the dynamic interactions between the architecture, profile and materials of the tread, which results in optimal contact surface management. The manufacturer's main strengths - extremely sensitive precision driving - a new technology - Dynamic Response - made with the help of a reinforcement belt with hybrid aramid and nylon, which ensures optimal steering control. With a high density, extremely tensile strength and particularly light (five times more durable than steel), this belt ensures perfect control of centrifugal forces at high speeds, keeping any tire deformation to a minimum, the tire contact spot remaining constant, even at such speeds, safety and braking on wet surfaces with a high level of performance are achieved by a new highly homogeneous tread compound mix, including functional elastomers and fine silicon dioxide. This new blend also improves the longevity and energy efficiency of the tire. The tread design is redesigned compared to the PS3, consisting of three continuous central ribs, separated by the shoulder blocks of 4 longitudinal grooves of different widths - two wider, one medium and
