Description
Michelin Pilot Sport PS3 tyres are asymmetrical summer tyres with a maximum performance profile, developed as original equipment for high-performance sports cars, coupes and sedans. Based on Michelin's expertise from more than twelve consecutive victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Pilot Sport 3 tyres are eco-friendly tyres marked with the Green X symbol on the sidewalls, which guarantees to offer one of the best levels of energy efficiency on the market. The Pilot Sport 3 are designed to balance tread service life, fuel efficiency and grip performance in dry or wet road conditions. The characteristic of the Pilot Sport 3 tyres is the Michelin Green Power Compound rubber compound that combines grip on wet surfaces with fuel economy and greater longevity. This compound is molded into an asymmetrical tread profile that improves response on dry roads and corners while the Michelin Anti Surf system combines an optimised tread profile and tread grooves to make it easier to pass through puddles and standing water, increase aquaplaning resistance and provide a shorter braking distance on wet roads. The tyre's internal structure has an architecture made with Michelin Programmed Distortion that uses digital technology to enhance driving pleasure and steering precision. Two identical helically wound polyamide reinforced steel belts are combined with a polyester casing to improve ride quality and durability at high speeds. MICHELIN is a French brand producing summer tyres and winter tyres located in the Auvergne region of France with its main factory in Clermont-Ferrand. MICHELIN is one of the two largest tyre manufacturers in the world along with Bridgestone. MICHELIN also owns the BF GOODRICH tyre brands,What customers are saying
