Description
The new range of BMW Winter 210 SottoZero Series II winter tyres developed by the major tyre manufacturer Pirelli guarantees excellent performance on wet, dry surfaces or in the presence of snow. At temperatures below 7 degrees, this line of winter tyres reduces aquaplaning more than other competing tyres. The asymmetrical model is divided into 2 important areas: the inner one is based on slightly inclined blocks and determines an upper lateral grip, excellent grip on snow and a reduction in the noise level. The outer area expels water and slates to ensure higher levels of traction on snow and water thanks to the spaced and rigid blocks. These characteristics are accentuated by the twin compounds patented by Pirelli. Characterised by low rolling resistance, this Pirelli tyre line also offers low noise levels for increased driving comfort. The I.B.S. sipe technology increases contact even on uneven surfaces and increases force when accelerating and braking. The new Temperature Dynamic Compound TDC generates high handling on wet surfaces and in all extreme winter temperatures. This tyre model is also manufactured with built-in RunFlat technology, which ensures a distance of 80 km with a top speed of 80 km-h, even after the loss of tyre air pressure following a puncture. Pirelli recommends fitting all 4 Pirelli winter tyres of the same model for extreme performance in all winter conditions. Auto Sport magazine posted in the October 2010 edition the test for this type of Pirelli tires on size 245 40 R18 V and the result was: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Pirelli shows its fangs in driving conditions on wet surfaces. Another prestigious German magazine, Auto Bild Sports Cars, wrote in the September edition the rating following the tests onWhat customers are saying
