PIRELLI Winter 270 SottoZero Series II are winter tyres for touring cars, with an asymmetrical profile, designed to react actively to the presence of wet asphalt and low external temperatures (below 7 degrees C), opposing the aquaplaning phenomenon with great success. These Pirelli tyres present a versatile and safe response for optimal driving of the car in all autumn-winter weather conditions: dry, wet or snow-covered surfaces make no difference, guaranteeing the best performance on all surfaces. The main features are: - wide grooves molded, in order to effectively remove water, - special water insulation gaps (HST - Hydro Tank static) a Pirelli patent, which guarantees better water insulation in the grooves, in order to significantly reduce the phenomenon of aquaplaning. Constructively, the profile of these All Seasons tires has two block ribs that guarantee stability and grip to and braking, in all conditions, three deep longitudinal grooves that ensure a better model of fluid dynamics improving the reduction of aquaplaning a compact groove of brick-shaped blocks in masonry (IBS - Interactive Brickwork Siping), which remarkably improves the traction capacity on snow and grip on dry surfaces, optimal driving in all autumn-winter conditions.
