Summer tyre BRIDGESTONE Potenza S001 BMW 275/40 R19 101 Y RunFlat C B 72 B

Description

BRIDGESTONE Potenza S001 BMW tyres are premium summer tyres with an asymmetrical profile for the original manufacture of BMW cars. The star marking on the sidewall of the tyre shows that they are original fitting tyres for BMW. Developed and tested on the toughest car circuits, the Bridgestone Potenza S001 BMW summer tyres allow you to unleash the full potential of your car with a guarantee of comfort and safety, effectively combining low rolling resistance with maximum sporty performance in dry or wet road conditions. The asymmetrical profile combines a wide outer shoulder, profiled blocks for interlocking and a central circumferential rib to enhance steering response, stability at high speeds and cornering precision. Transverse grooves at shoulder level ensure water drainage to the sides, while grooves at a large angle between the intermediate rib blocks pump water into the circumferential grooves to increase resistance to aquaplaning. The internal structure of the Bridgestone Potenza S001 BMW summer tyres is characterised by a package of three belts – two identical symmetrical belts with metal cord supported by a spiral wrapped reinforcement made of nylon/aramid cord that reduces drag, improves ride quality and ensures durability at high speeds. In RFT technology, the sidewalls are reinforced, with increased vertical lateral rigidity, to ensure temporary movement of the vehicle in the event of a puncture. The BMW sign stands for OEM tyres for BMW cars. The acronym RFT stands for Bridgestone's run-flat tyre technology designed to provide temporarily extended mobility for a distance of 80 km at a speed of 80 km/h even after a puncture causing a loss of air pressure in the tyre. BMW Potenza S001 summer tyres are available in five sizes - 245/50 R18 100Y, 195/50 R20 93W, 215/45 R20 91W,
