Launched on 08.09.2021, the Continental SportContact 7 is an asymmetrically profiled UUHP (ultra-high performance) summer tyre designed for sports and super-sports cars, which gives drivers the feeling of confidence with safe and stable driving behaviour on wet and dry surfaces, geared towards handling and with high mileage, so that they can simply enjoy driving pleasure at the highest level. The SportContact 7 is the next step over the SportContact 6 and uses the best technology that Continental has to offer and a specific design for each vehicle class to ensure that, regardless of the vehicle used, the best performance will be ensured. In tests carried out on the race track, mileage has increased by 10 percent compared to the previous model, and braking distances on wet terrain are reduced by 8 percent. The new SportContact 7 is also 6 percent better for dry braking, and the service life is 17 percent longer (tests with 245/30 R 20 tyre size).
