Description

The Davanti DX740 is an asymmetrical tread summer tyre designed to offer increased versatility in the SUV and 4x4 sector. The DX740 rubber is optimised for fuel efficiency and a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride, providing the optimal balance between wet and dry grip. Created by Davant's UK design team, the Davanti DX740 is produced at a state-of-the-art production facility and incorporates advanced Industry 4.0 tyre construction technologies and a special rubber and silica compound with an innovative design that ensures excellent levels of grip, tread control and overall comfort. The inner section of the tread is characterized by inner shoulder blocks separated by open transverse grooves connected with two circumferential grooves in the central area for efficient evacuation of water from the contact spot. The central part features four deep circumferential grooves that delimit a row of blocks and two ribs that serve to provide dissipation, drainage and evacuation of water from the contact spot. The massive outer shoulder blocks are separated by unpenetrated U-shaped grooves that function for both noise dissociation and grip in muddy conditions.
