KUMHO PorTran KC53 tyres are summer tyres with a symmetrical profile designed by the Korean manufacturer for light commercial vehicles for the transport of goods, people or caravans, offering a high mileage, improved grip on wet roads and increased service life. The tread profile is characterized by two circumferential ribs consisting of identically shaped blocks separated by cordul-shaped and small width transverse grooves, combined with z-shaped grooves on 2 blocks each. Three medium-width circumferential grooves ensure water intake and evacuation in wet road conditions. The shoulder blocks are massive, transversely delimited by a groove-groove combination and having a transverse groove in the middle. The KUMHO PorTran KC53 summer tires are robust tires designed to withstand heavy loads and frequent delivery stops. The optimized tread design ensures greater mileage potential than the KUMHO Radial 857 tire. Wide center ribs improve handling on dry roads, and deep circular grooves ensure fast water evacuation to provide grip on wet roads, improving handling by 5 percent and reducing the risk of aquaplaning while better coping with heavy payloads.
