Description

Established on August 19, 1976 as a state-owned economic enterprise with the purpose of manufacturing aircraft tires for the Turkish Air Force, PETLAS has become one of the internationally recognized manufacturers. A brief history of the company captures the commercialization of the first tire for a military aircraft, the privatization process of the company between 1990-1997, the obtaining of the ISO 9001 quality certificate in 1998 and the ISO 14001 environmental certificate in 2004. The Abdulkadir Ozcan Group acquired the company in 2005, which led to a remarkable development in the segment of tires for cars and SUVs.
