The PIRELLI Pzero R01 are UHP summer tyres intended for powerful mid-class cars. In the development of the PIRELLI tyre range, the Pzero R01 were chosen as original fitting equipment on the Quattro, RS4, RS6 and R8 models of the great car manufacturer AUDI, but this does not prevent them from being fitted to other car models as well. The asymmetrical profile of these PIRELLI tyres significantly improves control, grip and braking distance in rainy weather. The three deep circumferential grooves, together with the multiple transverse grooves, effectively remove water outwards from the tread to increase traction and minimise the risk of aquaplaning, thus benefiting from a sporty ride in all summer conditions. The special compounds used in the manufacture of these tyres in summer generate extreme grip in wet and dry conditions. The nano compound of this line of tyres generates increased traction and superior stability in straight lines and corners. The intelligent centre ribs are slightly inclined to increase acceleration power and shorten braking distance for these Pzero R01 tyres. Being owned by powerful cars, these PIRELLI Pzero R01 tyres are only marketed with the speed index Y.
