Description

Safety and comfort are the main features of the new MATADOR MP 82 Conquerra 2 SUV summer tire range. This line of summer tires is developed for modern SUVs and off-road cars. The asymmetrical pattern, angular blocks and technological rubber compounds generate superior levels of agility, handling, rolling resistance and a comfortable and quiet ride. The block system of these Matador tires allows for a safe ride for 80 percent on the road and 20 percent off-road. The continuous center rib ensures increased stability and a short braking distance. The optimized center ribs constructed of S-shaped blocks provide good levels of traction and handling in any summer conditions. The compact and solid shoulder blocks of these Matador tyres feature high lateral stiffness to provide high levels of shear forces and safety. The large number of wave-shaped grooves and wide circumferential grooves allow for easy removal of water out of the tread to increase traction and reduce the level of aquaplaning on wet roads. The intelligent inland and external block system provides a low level of rolling noise for a comfortable and quiet ride. The Silicon compound together with the new technological tread compounds significantly reduces rolling resistance and evenly distributes pressure throughout the tread, thus evening out wear and increasing the life of these tires. The large number of sipes brings extra grip in the rain and reduces the rolling resistance of this model of summer tires. The robust casing reinforced with steel and spiralized nylon generates increased safety and superior stability both on the highway at high speeds and on off-road roads. In 1998 the tire manufacturer MATADOR became the first tire manufacturer
