Winter tyre CONTINENTAL ContiWinterContact TS 810 Sport BMW 175/65 R15 84 T - D D 71 B

Description

The ContiWinterContact TS 810 Sport BMW are winter tyres that come as factory equipment for some BMW models (the acronym BMW), but can be fitted to any car model. This type of Continental tyre ensures excellent handling in all winter conditions, an increased level of comfort, durability, exemplary handling in rain and efficient braking. The inner tread area of this line of winter tyres is structured to create numerous sharp edges for good grip on surfaces covered with snow or water. In the inner area, the wider grooves remain open even when in contact with the ground, thus increasing traction. The asymmetrical pattern of these Continental tyres together with the optimised grooves that represent a completely new concept (they are twenty percent more frequent on the inside) take on more snow and provide greater snow-to-snow friction (friction that is more efficient than snow-rubber friction). The innovative new type of groove spacer prevents the grooves from closing on contact with the road, in order to pick up more snow and increase stability and grip when cornering on snow. The new polymer type incorporated into this Continental ContiWinterContact TS 810 Sport tyre range performs better on wet surfaces without compromising traction and handling in snow. The ultra-activated carbon significantly increases driving stability. The plasticizing reagents in the composition of this type of winter tyres increase the service life and flexibility needed at low temperatures. To greatly reduce the risk of aquaplaning, the number of grooves has been adapted according to the width of the footprint (3 or 4 grooves), in order to take in a large amount of water in rain. The Winter Wear Indicator (TWI) shows us when the winter tyre set is changed for a new set in order to benefit from maximum performance at any time of the winter. Magazine
