Winter tyre CONTINENTAL ContiWinterContact TS 850P SUV 225/70 R16 103 H - D C 72 B

Description

The CONTINENTAL ContiWinterContact TS 850P SUV are tyres developed for the winter season for high-performance SUVs. This line of Continental tyres offers excellent traction, handling and braking performance on any surface covered by water, snow or ice. By using a strong apex in the form of a string of reinforcement beads, lateral forces can be better transferred during cornering. Thanks to the more flexible sidewall of this range of winter tyres, less energy is lost in corners and thus you enjoy a comfortable ride and reduced rolling resistance. The wide and strong shoulders of these winter tyres are constructed of rigid blocks that grip excellently and amplify stability in any corner and at any speed. The orientation of the slats and blocks is focused on increasing traction on snow due to the large number of grippy edges and snow friction (the slats open at a certain angle to swallow the optimized amount of snow, thus ensuring a good grip on the snow). The large number of blocks and longitudinal slats generate a large number of lateral grippy edges for an efficient transmission of lateral forces, thus benefiting from high traction and effective braking on snow-covered surfaces. The variation of the slats according to the depth of the outer shoulder promises an interlocking effect to amplify the rigidity of the side blocks. The small grooves between the angular blocks guarantee a centralization effect between the blocks during corners. The small size of the sidewalls of this model of Continental ContiWinterContact TS 850P tires generates great stability in corners, a direct engagement of the rim and tread area to enjoy optimal stiffness in corners, excellent handling on dry circuits and for immediate steering response.
