Winter tyre KUMHO PorTran CW51 225/70 R15C 112/110 R - E E 73 2

Description

The new PorTran CW51 winter tire model developed by the Korean tire manufacturer KUMHO is intended for commercial and commercial vehicles. The main features of this model of KUMHO tires are excellent grip and increased handling on surfaces covered with snow or mud. The symmetrical pattern of the tread generates average performance on wet and dry surfaces. The inclined side blocks of this type of tire improve handling and grip in curves. The large contact footprint and extensive flexibility of the rubber compounds promise high durability and a high load load. The technological compounds incorporated in this winter tire model provide good performance even at low temperatures and improve wear resistance. 3 deep circular grooves, together with open shoulders, promote good water removal to the outside and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. The optimised blocks in the centre of the tread of this line of tyres in winter guarantee a good grip on dry roads. The increased tread pad density increases traction on snow and ice and reduces rolling wear. The uniform distribution of pressure throughout the tread ensures increased handling and a reduction in uneven wear to increase service life. Founded in 1960, KUMHO produced its first tyre in 1961. 15 years later, the company had more than 1 million tires produced in Korea, and in 1992 KUMHO joined the top 10 tire manufacturers globally. With factories in Korea, China and Vietnam, the KUMHO brand continues to be the leading company in this sector in Korea and to enter new markets with its range of tires.
