Winter tyre PIRELLI Carrier Winter 225/65 R16C 112/110 R - C A 73 B

Description

The new Carrier Winter winter tyre model developed by the major tyre manufacturer PIRELLI is optimised to run safely in all extreme cold season conditions. This type of PIRELLI Carrier Winter tyre is dedicated to commercial vehicles and ensures good rolling resistance, an increased level of safety and good resistance against aquaplaning. The name of this new Carrier Winter tyre model is borrowed from the summer line of the same name (but without the Winter season specification). When building these winter tyres, Pirelli focused on improving overall performance and extreme safety on surfaces covered with water, ice or snow. According to the tests carried out, drive 30 percent more kilometers and benefit from more grip in rainy weather. These 2 advantages are ensured by the new optimized footprint pattern, the presence of wide grooves and the Silicon insert. The three wide longitudinal channels and open shoulders increase resistance against aquaplaning by 10 percent and shorten the braking distance on wet roads by 5 percent compared to previous tire models. The geometric pattern of these winter tyres generates extreme levels of grip, handling and high forces when accelerating and braking. The special compounds that make up these tyres increase the flexibility of these Pirelli tyres to enjoy safety, grip and comfort in any extreme winter temperatures. The deep tread patterns of the model ensure good traction of the car and increased grip on snow. PIRELLI is one of the leading manufacturers of premium tires on the market and continues to follow the same set of values that helped build the group's identity. Considerable investments in the R&D area ensure the company access to important information and results that it uses every time in the production of new products.
