The Taurus 201 are winter tyres manufactured under the licence of the major tyre manufacturer Michelin, in the same factories in Serbia where the other budget brands Tigar and Riken are manufactured. This tyre model is intended for drivers of minibuses and light commercial vehicles on a tight budget, but who want minimum levels of performance in winter. The asymmetrical profile adheres to any wet, dry or snow- or ice-covered surface. The tread composition incorporates compounds that ensure average service life and optimal levels of traction in rainy weather. The strong shoulders of this line of Taurus tyres are constructed of robust blocks and amplify stability and handling when cornering. The high density of sipes on the tread surface brings extra grip on snow and ice. The level of aquaplaning is minimized due to the presence of 3 wide circular grooves that remove water to the outside. The reinforced sidewalls generate a safe ride at high loads in a straight line and in corners. The blocks placed at a certain angle to the circumferential grooves determine a good grip on snow and ice. This type of Taurus tires is an excellent option for the cold season and guarantees a good quality-price ratio.
