Latitude Alpin LA 2 are Michelin tires with deep grooves and a high number of ribs for better grip. Michelin Latitude Alpin LA2 are produced with 3 high-performance technologies: StabiliGrip, Helio Compound 3G, Ridge N Flex. StabiliGrip involves the use of 3 types of sipes positioned at different angles that offer improved traction due to the large number of ribs. This helps break the water film and provides increased rigidity. Helio Compound is the 3rd generation of technology that involves a new blend based on silicon and sunflower oil for increased grip at low temperatures on snow, ice or water. Ridge N Flex is a technology for increased grip and optimal handling in winter.
