Description
Michelin Latitude Sport N1 are summer tyres originally developed for original equipment (OE) on some of the most prestigious and high-performance 4x4 sports vehicles (Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg). N1 is the mention on the tyre that shows that it is approved by the manufacturer of Porsche vehicles as original fitting tyres. These Michelin Latitude Sport tyres are designed to provide high-class traction on dry and wet roads, handling and cornering but, like all other summer tyres, they are not intended for use in freezing, snow or ice conditions. Latitude Sport are Micheline tyres that combine the asymmetrical tread profile and dual tread compounds of the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tyre. It features a hybrid silicon-carbon blend that starts on the outside of the tyre shoulder and continues transversely across the tread to enhance dry traction, while a silicone-rich compound continues on the inside of the shoulder of this Michelin Latitude Sport tyre to enhance wet traction. These summer tyres have large blocks arranged laterally on the tyre shoulder, along with the middle and centre ribs improve steering response and cornering stability, while wide circumferential grooves and side notches help evacuate water to enhance wet road traction. The internal structure for these Michelin summer tyres includes two high-strength steel cable belts, which are further reinforced by optimised calibration, with precisely placed individual aramid-nylon hybrid filaments that resist the distortion of the rubber to provide resistance at high speeds and enhance the pleasure of travelling. The history of the tyre manufacturer is closely linked to the innovative ideas of Edouard Michelin, who in 1891 set out to develop a detachable tyre model that would reduce the time neededWhat customers are saying
